As You Like It
NYU Tisch
By: William Shakespeare, Dir. Daniel Spector
As You Like It follows a banished noblewoman who disguises herself as a boy and escapes to the Forest of Arden, where she encounters her beloved, an exiled young nobleman writing love poems to her on the trees. Hidden behind her disguise, she playfully pretends to be his love interest to test his devotion, setting off a witty journey of mistaken identity, romance, and reconciliation.
This production is presented by NYU Tisch School of the Arts as part of The Classical Studio, an advanced acting program that selects only 14 actors each year.
